About Us
Dr. Steiner Holding AG is an owner-managed international investment company. It operates both out of Berlin and Cologne, Germany.
As a medium-sized company, we like to partner with forward-thinking international entrepreneurs and investment professionals who operate at the frontiers of digital innovation. Furthermore, we support small and medium-sized companies in special situations such as restructuring and carve-outs.

Our story
Established in 1998, Dr. Steiner Holding AG comprised primarily entrepreneurial activities within the international wine industry. Sole shareholder is Prof. Dr. Marc Steiner. In 1999, Dr. Steiner Holding AG founded the e-commerce company: European Wine Exchange which was successfully sold in 2000 to wine.com.
As of today, wine still represents a significant part of Dr. Steiner Holding AG activities. Global Wines GmbH & Co. KG, operationally located in Cologne, is a 100% subsidiary of Dr. Steiner Holding AG.
Dr. Steiner Digital Beteiligung GmbH & Co. KG was established in 2005. It is also a 100% subsidiary of Dr. Steiner Holding AG. All of the current investment activities within the digital field is through this entity.
